iPhone 12 and 13 are the most common unlisted requests. Both are available from Gelato; we will add them to the selector shortly. In the meantime, email us and we can take the order manually through the same production pipeline at the same price.
Wrap sublimation vs decal — why it matters
Most personalised phone cases use a decal or vinyl overlay stuck to the back. Wrap sublimation is different: the design is heat-pressed into the case surface, so the ink becomes part of the case material rather than sitting on top of it. The result is a print that does not peel, does not scratch off, and does not delaminate at the edges — the three failure modes of vinyl-overlay cases under normal pocket and bag use.
The glossy white finish amplifies the oxblood red in the typography — the name reads at full saturation even in lower-light conditions. If you want a matte finish, email us; we can specify a matte base for most phone models at the same price.
Drop protection — what "tough-shell" means in practice
The case is a two-piece construction: a rigid outer shell and a cushioned TPU inner liner. The raised bezel around the screen means the screen does not contact a flat surface if the phone falls face-down. Drop-tested to 1.5m onto concrete — functional in the yard environment.
The case handles the typical drops from pocket, coat hook, or tack-room shelf — the most common use environments for our buyers. It will not survive a direct hit onto cobbles from chest height, but that is not the realistic use case.
Gifting — the phone-case occasion
Phone cases are most commonly given at birthdays and Christmas, usually by someone who knows the recipient's phone model well — partner, parent, close friend. If you are unsure of the model: all iPhone 15 and newer use USB-C; older iPhones use Lightning. Samsung Galaxy S23 has a distinctive curved punch-hole front camera.
