How much does a print cost? +
Prints start at £13.99 and every price includes free UK delivery. The painted preview of your horse is free.
How does the personalised name print work? +
Type your horse's name, breed and yard — we set it in editorial type and show you the layout instantly. No photo needed. When you order, the design is rendered at full print resolution and made to order in the UK.
How does the portrait work? +
Upload a photo of your horse, pick one of five painting styles — oil, watercolour, charcoal, pop art or impressionist — and our engine repaints it. The preview is free (three a day) and carries a watermark. When you order, the artwork is re-rendered at full gallery resolution and printed.
Will the printed artwork look like the preview? +
Yes — the final render uses the same style instructions as your preview, at much higher resolution. Small details may differ slightly because the artwork is regenerated, but the style and composition match the preview.
What photos work best for a portrait? +
A clear, well-lit photo with the horse as the subject — side-on in the field, head over the stable door, or ridden. A 12-megapixel phone photo comfortably covers every canvas size we sell.
How long does delivery take? +
Each gift is made to order in the UK: production takes 1–3 working days, then delivery 2–5 working days. Most UK orders arrive within a week.
What do you do with uploaded photos? +
Uploads are used only to produce your preview and your print. Unpurchased uploads are deleted automatically after 30 days; previews after 2 days. We never use your photos for anything else.
Can I return a personalised gift? +
If your order arrives damaged or wrong, we reprint or refund — photos within 30 days to hello@stableandhoof.com. Because personalised items are made to your specification, the usual 14-day cancellation right doesn't apply once production starts (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg 28(1)(b)).
