Horse colouring pages
Six horse and pony pictures to print and colour in. Add a name if you like, and it goes at the bottom of each page.
Add a name and each page will say who coloured it in. Press a picture's print button, or print all six.

Pony in the meadow
Mare and foal
Over the poles
Flowers in the forelock
Over the stable door
The heavy horse
Each page prints on A4 with a line that should measure 50 mm, so you can check the printer kept the size. We don't save the name you type.
Got a horse worth framing? Turn a photo of them into a portrait, or put their name on a name print.
How to print them
Press Print this page under any picture, or Print all six. Each one fills a sheet of A4. If your printer asks, choose portrait and actual size (100%). There is a short line at the bottom of each sheet that should measure 50 mm; if it's shorter, the printer has shrunk the page.
The pictures are black outlines on white with no shading, so they work with crayons, felt tips or coloured pencils.
Ideas for the colours
Horses come in more colours than you'd think. A bay has a brown body with a black mane, tail and legs. A palomino is golden with a pale mane. A grey can be nearly white, or speckled. Our guide to horse colours has a picture of each one to copy from.
Want to know what colour a foal will be? Try the foal colour calculator before you colour the mare and foal.
For groups
Riding schools, Pony Club branches, playgroups and libraries are welcome to print these for a rainy day or a fun day stand. Please link to this page rather than copying the pictures onto another website.
