Horse prints and horse wall art

Horse prints and horse wall art from eighteen original artworks in painted and drawn styles, each printed to order. Posters are on 250gsm archival paper from £15.99 for A4, and every artwork also comes on canvas, metal and wood and in a frame. They fall into four groups, so you can start with the kind of picture that suits the room and the person you are buying for.

Portraits. Five studies of a single horse. The Chestnut Mare is a chestnut with a long white blaze, head turned against warm ochre, in an oil-painting style. The Grey Hunter is charcoal and graphite on toned paper, all smudged shading around a dappled grey head. The Loose Box frames a contented horse in its doorway with deep straw behind, in straw-gold oil. The Paddock Gate has a friendly horse reaching over a five-bar gate to greet you, in green and chestnut watercolour. The Shire Horse is a black Shire standing square in a summer meadow, white feather falling over its hooves, in an oil-painting style. These suit someone whose own horse shares that colouring, or anyone who likes a face on the wall.

Yard life. Three pictures of the everyday work around horses. The Stable Yard is a cobbled yard early in the morning, a horse looking out over a half-door, hay nets and long shadows. The Tack Room is a still life of a worn saddle and hanging bridles in lamplight. The Farrier is a charcoal study of a farrier holding up a hind hoof, with the anvil close by and the forge glowing. They fit a tack room, a boot room or the hallway by the back door, and The Farrier makes a kind thank-you for the person who shoes the horse.

Riding and sport. Six artworks with a rider aboard. The Final Furlong brings three racehorses towards you at full gallop on green turf, in loose oils. Cross Country clears a log-and-brush fence with the turf flying. Showjumping is drawn as a travel poster in navy, red and green, the horse at the top of its arc. Dressage is a clean mid-century silhouette in charcoal and gold. Morning Hack follows a horse and rider down a misty, tree-lined bridleway in low golden light, and Dawn Meet gathers riders in silhouette on a frosty morning in front of a wooded estate. These are the ones for an eventer, a showjumper, a racing fan or someone who rides out most mornings.

Landscapes. Four wider views where the horses belong to the country around them. Moorland Ponies graze among heather and granite under a big sky. Horses in Mist stand in a frosted field at dawn, their breath clouding in the cold. Two in the Field graze side by side in a rolling summer field at golden hour, and Foal in Spring stays close to its mother in a buttercup paddock. They suit a larger wall, where the space around the horses has room to breathe.
